” I always make the same wish, but I am afraid can’t tell what it is. It might not come true. I really want it to. It would change my life. I need help – I need you to be here ; with me ” She sit at her room staring at the night sky through her windows pane – alone. Crying.

Everyone got a problem – none of us can run from any problem as long as we keep breathing in this world. The different is on how each of us act or responded upon the problem we faced. Some of us might take a view from a positive side of the problem but most of us often choose the take the shortcut – the easy way.

” It is easier if I just died right here – right now “

Most of us especially teenager tend to choose the easier way – killing themselves; committing suicide. Recently, Malaysia has been shocked by cases – a student was stopped from going to oversea (for Jihad; ISIS related) by her parent and she decided/attempting to committed suicide. This is not the first case nor the first suicide attempt ; some would just kill themselves due to failure in examination, love or money-related issue.

I am not going to condemn their choice but it is a critical issue – most cases happen is because they did not have someone to turn to; someone to shed the light in their way – someone to fully understand them and willingly lend hand to them. To pull them out of their misery.

The Believers, men and women, are protectors one of another: they enjoin what is just, and forbid what is evil: they observe regular prayers, practice regular charity, and obey Allah and His Messenger. On them will Allah pour His mercy: for Allah is Exalted in power, Wise. – Quran 9:71

As a Muslim, a human being and also one small entity in this vast earth – I would encourage all of you to be prepared to help one another regardless of their physical appearance, status, religion or even races. Just lend your hand to those in need – be their savior, the unsung hero. Help me to build a better world.

Help can be provided in various way. We can provide through physical support or even a mental support. It can just start by giving some money to those in need, wipe their tears when they are crying or just be there to listen to their problem. Most of us so busy minding our own business that we forgot ; a little help can give a big impact. A quick smile can bring brought out happiness into the life of others. A small bread can fill up another man’s stomach. A little chat can heal the broken heart.

Food for the body is not enough. There must be food for the soul. – Dorothy Day

Help people in anyway you can. Make this the food of your soul. Be a hero – even just an unsung hero. The world need you.
