Today marks the last day of my job hunting session – I will no longer accept any invitations for interview session as I have already got a few offers on the table.
Interviews – a place where anything somehow will get out of our mouth. Regardless of if it is truth or lies for the sake of getting the position or job that we want.
It is wonderful what mouth can do. How fast all those words come flying out of our mouth. Sometimes without us realizing what we say or even meant it. Words spoken – a sacred thing. A promise to those we spoke unto and also our own self.
In life – without us realizing, we are continously torturing ourselve and hurting other people. We spoke things we did not really meant it, we promise things we can not deliver and we built hope for other – a false hope.
We often let the words fly out or mouth without even a slightest consideration of it’s outcome. Words comes out of our mouth – turns into sound wave projected to the ears of those we spoke unto, transforming into informations in their brain, evolving into promise and hopes in their heart. A craving.
A craving for the deliverances of those promises and it will comes back to us to deliver those promise. To make it solid. To present it in real life as beautiful and as complete as the words that has been spoken.
Hope, promises and expectation will break us all if it is not delivered as what we want. Thus, be careful with your mouth. Spoke things honestly, promise things that we know we can deliver.
Do not be rash with your mouth, and do not let your heart be hasty to utter anything before God; for God is in heaven, and you on earth. Therefore let your words be few. For as a dream comes with a multitude of cares, so a fool’s speech with a multitude of words. – Bible 5:2
